YOUTH LEARN TO FLY PROGRAM

Currently there is a significant shortage of airline pilots in the United States and internationally. PAA is partnering with local area high schools in Montgomery, Frederick, Carroll, Howard, and Prince Georges counties to promote a special program targeting high school graduates considering an alternative to expensive college degree programs. The program includes scholarships, grant opportunities, and significant discounts for high school students that want to pursue obtaining their private pilot’s license. WOMEN AND MINORITY LEARN TO FLY PROGRAM

PAA is developing a special learn-to-fly program that supports the inclusion of women and minorities into aviation and flight school training. This new program will enable both women and minorities with a desire to experience learning to fly for fun, as well as a career in aviation as a commercial airline pilot or a privately licensed corporate pilot. Stay tuned as we finalize the development of this new exciting program to officially launch late summer/early fall 2019!
